Move from local to a live server

Sometimes we want to customize locally first and then go to a live server. Though zCart has a developer license to work locally but you can install your script locally with a regular license too. After modifying please follow these steps to go to a live server:

Please take a backup of your modified database (you may export all the database tables) file and then delete all the database tables

• Delete the file named “installed” from the storage folder and then take a backup of your code.

• Delete the installation from the incevio service panel

• Now you can upload the modified code and import the database on your live server and try to install the script according to this.
